Wrinkles?

The muscles responsible for forming facial expressions lie under the skin. Because the muscles are constantly working, moving the overlying skin, the strain on the skin will eventually show. It loses natural elasticity and stretchiness with time and it begins to fold when these muscles underneath the skin contract. These folds are seen as wrinkles. They tend to be most common in the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes.

Wrinkle Treatments

Using very small needles the muscles are injected to temporarily stop them working. Some muscle fibres are left untouched and so expressions can still be made but without the wrinkles forming.

The most commonly treated areas are the frown lines between the eyebrows, the crow's feet, and the forehead, but anti-wrinkle injections can be used in most places where there are troublesome wrinkles, including in the neck.

If the wrinkles have been present for so long that they appear as a permanent line or crease on the face. This type of line responds best to  of filler injections. Filler and anti-wrinkle injections can be used at the same time if an area requires it.
